Weatherproofing

Replacing the caulking joints in pre-cast concrete or around windows is a necessary maintenance job.  To keep the integrity of a building's exterior intact and sealed from the elements, caulking must be inspected so that it can be cleaned, repaired, and checked for weatherproofing.

Don't let your energy dollars seep out of a building due to caulking problems!

Our Caulking and Weatherproofing Service involves removing the old caulk from the joint or around the window casing, installing backing rod if necessary, applying Dow Corning silicon caulk, and then tooling for flush joints...resulting in a clean appearance and energy savings.

Since caulking generally lasts 10 to 30 years depending on the product and the amount of weather exposure it has received, moisture commonly enters a building through leaky window gaskets. We can replace these with new wet sealing to protect and seal your moisture barrier.
